THE ROSE AUTHOR ELDERSHIP CIRCLE
A nine-month journey for women aged 52 and over who are ready to write their book, honour their lived experience and step more fully into eldership.
This is more than a book-writing programme. It is a space to reflect on the life you have lived, recognise the wisdom you now carry and consider how your story can become part of something greater than yourself.
Through writing, community, ceremony and the shared wisdom of other elders, you will be supported to bring your book into the world while exploring what eldership means for you, your community and the generations who will follow.
THE WORLD NEEDS ELDERSHIP
Many women reach the later chapters of life carrying decades of experience, wisdom, loss, learning, service and transformation, yet our culture does not always create meaningful spaces for this wisdom to be recognised or shared.
At the same time, many younger people are growing up without access to elders who can listen, guide and remind them that they do not have to walk through life alone.
The Eldership Circle exists to help restore this connection.
This programme supports women from different cultures, backgrounds and life experiences to recognise the value of what they carry and step into eldership in their own authentic way.
Eldership is not about having all the answers or placing yourself above another person. It is about becoming someone who can remain present, share wisdom without controlling and offer lived experience in service of the wider community.
When elders take their place, communities remember who they are.

YOUR STORY IS PART OF YOUR LEGACY
Every woman carries a story that no one else can tell.
Your life contains experiences, lessons and insights that may support another person through a challenge you once believed you faced alone.
Writing your book allows these experiences to become something that can continue travelling after you, reaching families, communities and future generations.
Your completed book will also be submitted to the national library, helping preserve your story and making it accessible to families and communities for generations to come.
This is not simply about becoming an author.
It is about recognising that your life has meaning, your experience has value and your voice deserves to be remembered.

THE NINE-MONTH JOURNEY
The programme brings together supported book writing and a six-month journey into eldership.

Months One to Three: Writing Your Book
Finding your voice. Shaping your story.
During the first three months, Natalie Rose will support you through the process of shaping your experiences into a clear and meaningful book.
You will explore your message, structure your ideas, strengthen your voice and begin developing a manuscript that reflects who you truly are.
You do not need to arrive as an experienced writer or have everything planned before joining. You only need a story you feel called to share and a willingness to begin.

Months Four to Nine: The Eldership Circle

Remembering your wisdom. Stepping into elderhood.
The following six months will take you through a deeper exploration of eldership, responsibility, community and service.
Crossing the Threshold into Elderhood
Recognising the transition from simply growing older into consciously accepting the responsibility and invitation of eldership.
The Elder Within the Circle
Exploring how elders create belonging through presence, listening and the ability to hold space for others.
The Living Diamond
Honouring the pressure, challenges and experiences that have shaped your wisdom, strength and unique contribution.

Remembrance & acceptance.
This module support you to get clear on the story of your life, to truly create space to remember the depth of what has happened in our lives and move into acceptance in order to move forward and create our core message and story bank.

The Eldership Circle continued ...
Sharing your wisdom. Returning with the gift.
The Responsibility of Wisdom
Learning how to share what you know without controlling, rescuing or taking away another person’s path.
Bridging the Generations
Exploring how elders can support younger generations through storytelling, guidance, rites of passage and meaningful connection.
Returning With the Gift
Bringing your experience, wisdom and completed book back into your family, community and the wider world.

Your Invitation to Tell Your Story
Many women carry a story for years because they do not believe they are writers, do not know where to begin or feel overwhelmed by the publishing process.
You do not need perfect grammar, a finished manuscript or previous writing experience to join.
You will be supported to find the structure beneath your story, trust your natural voice and move through the process one stage at a time.
The intention is not to make every book sound the same.
It is to help your book sound like you.
MORE THAN A BOOK
The book is an important part of this journey, but it is not the whole journey.
Through the Eldership Circle, you will be invited to look beneath the words and recognise the woman who has been shaped through every chapter of her life.
You will explore what you have survived, what you have learnt, what you are ready to release and what you now feel called to give back.
Your book becomes a living bridge between your experience and the people who may one day need the wisdom it contains.
